Love for music as a child was never something Adrian Ross was able to shake, nor would he want to. Growing up in a household that listened to a variety of genres and artists, from Stevie Wonder, to ABBA, to Steve Miller Band, and beyond, Adrian’s eclectic music interests were developed from a young age.
Adrian has sung throughout his life and, late into his teenage years, picked up the guitar in order to accompany himself and write his own songs.
Years later, Adrian finally felt prepared to pursue creating his lifelong dream of a solo album and performing music live.
Taking part in the Spectra Talent Contest, Adrian was afforded the opportunity to record a collaborative holiday single. Released under the group name ‘Spectra Singers,’ the song ‘If You’re Not Here At Christmas’ hit #1 on the Canadian Singles Charts and was a Certified Canadian Gold record based on sales.
Adrian joined the Toronto based, rock duet band, Bathurst Station in Summer 2013. In February 2014, Bathurst Station released their self-titled debut album and currently has 650,000+ hits on their postings on YouTube, one of which is a cover of the Grease classic, “You’re The One That I Want”
Around the same time, Adrian was working on his debut solo album. Partnering with award-winning producer Arun Chaturvedi, Adrian created ‘The Love Electric,’ an all-original, ten song offering, which was released in July 2014. The lead single, ‘Anything’, was nominated for an OutMusic Award for Best Gospel/Inspirational song. The music video for the follow-up single ‘Stuttering’ was featured in DNA Magazine (Australia) and DBNA Magazine (Germany).
To follow up the album, Adrian self-produced a holiday single called ‘Evergreen’, which was released in November 2014 and toured the UK with Bathurst Station in 2015.
Adrian has been writing a lot recently and has been seeking a producer to work on an upcoming release.
